Srinagar, Aug 02 (KNO): Residents of Lane 6, Acha Bagh, Mala Bagh in Srinagar have expressed frustration over the poor condition of their road, saying that it remains damaged and muddy despite drainage work being completed a year ago. Locals from the area told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they have followed up with the concerned authorities multiple times, but no action has been taken so far. The residents have also shared payment receipts as proof of official communication and work-related charges. “The road becomes completely muddy even with a little rainfall. It is very difficult to walk, especially for school children, women and the elderly,” said Latif Ahmad, a local resident. He said the drainage was laid a year ago, but the road has been left unattended. Meanwhile, other residents near Masjid Ibrahim said the issue has been repeatedly brought to the attention of the authorities, but nothing has changed. They urged the administration to intervene immediately and complete the pending road repair work—(KNO)
